Closer to the Light [karen]


        closer
          to the light

         reaching,
        straining
            to see

      stumbling
        sometimes

      but always closer
        to the warmth
    to the light

      the brightness
         the clarity
            the truth

     drawing,
          being drawn
         ever nearer

            to the light
